Before you ask for a quote
How much does it cost?
It depends on your staircase: the number of steps, its shape and the finish you choose. That's why your mock-up comes with a rough price range, and the home visit ends with a fixed written quote.
Do I need a new staircase?
Usually not. If your staircase is sound, we fit new oak treads and risers over it, which is faster and cheaper than replacing the whole flight.
Do I need planning permission?
Not for a makeover of a sound staircase. If we spot a structural problem at the visit, we tell you before quoting.
How long does it take?
Most makeovers take 2 days on site. We agree the dates with you when you book.
Can we use the stairs while you work?
Yes, every evening. We tidy up at the end of each day.
Can you add LED step lights?
Yes. Warm LED lights can be built into any makeover. Mention it in the form and we'll include it in your mock-up and quote.
Which areas do you cover?
We're based in Doncaster and cover about an hour and a half around it, including Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley, Leeds, Wakefield, York, Hull, Lincoln and Nottingham.
